The role requires 10+ years in enterprise networking, expertise in OSPF/BGP, Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco ACI/Nexus, and SD-WAN.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise network engineering.
• Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and switching (VLANs, STP).
• Palo Alto NGFW experience with policy management and Panorama.
• Cisco ACI/Nexus fabric design and contracts.
• VPN architectures including DMVPN/IPSec.
• SD-WAN deployment and optimization (Silver Peak/Aruba EdgeConnect).
• Automation tools: Ansible, Python Netmiko, Terraform.
• Hybrid cloud networking (AWS, Azure) integration with on-premise.
• Strong documentation practices for network diagrams and baselines.
• Able to present complex concepts to executives and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-grade network solutions for multi-site and cloud environments.
• Lead infrastructure projects from requirements to deployment.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for network components.
• Perform proactive network maintenance and health monitoring.
• Manage vulnerability assessments and security advisories.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation and topology maps.
• Troubleshoot incidents to minimize downtime and impact.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and application teams on standards.
• Evaluate emerging networking tech and translate to actionable upgrades.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.
