Job summary

MGT Impact Solutions seeks a Senior Network Engineer/Architect to lead complex service-provider and data-center network projects. The role involves architecture, design, and hands-on implementation across Arista and Juniper platforms, with strong emphasis on routing, security, and incident handling.

Remote work is primary, with occasional onsite in Tampa, NYC, or Dallas. 40 hours/week through July 2027, potentially extendable, and opportunities for collaboration with enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of service-provider and data-center network architecture.
• Expert-level understanding of BGP, IS-IS, VXLAN/EVPN, IPv6, MPLS, and SR.
• Hands-on with Arista and Juniper platforms; troubleshooting and rollbacks.
• Familiarity with optical fiber, DWDM, and field cabling.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to lead complex projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex network projects from requirements to deployment.
• Design scalable network solutions and low-level designs.
• Support VIP escalations and participate in rotation.
• Manage milestones, priorities, and status with minimal supervision.
• Communicate designs and incident status to diverse audiences.
• Assist with maintenance cutovers and test plans.
• Create topology diagrams and post-incident analyses.
