Job summary

MGT Impact Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Architect for a full-time engagement with one of its technology clients. The role is primarily remote, with occasional onsite in Tampa, New York City, or Atlanta, and runs through July 2027.

You will lead complex service-provider and data-center network projects from requirements through deployment, design scalable solutions, document low-level designs, and support VIP escalations.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of service-provider and data-center network architecture.
• Expert-level understanding of BGP, IS-IS, VXLAN/EVPN, IPv6, MPLS, SR.
• Hands-on with Arista and Juniper platforms; strong troubleshooting ability.
• Strong technical writing and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Senior-level hands-on experience and equivalent professional background required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex service-provider and data-center network projects from requirements to deployment.
• Design scalable network solutions and document low-level designs.
• Support VIP customer escalations and participate in escalation rotations.
• Manage projects with minimal supervision and communicate status clearly.
• Prepare test plans, runbooks, rollback procedures, and change-management docs.
