Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to ensure service provider delivery of managed network services and address complex incidents across LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and security infrastructure.

The role emphasizes maintaining high availability, managing vendor performance, coordinating circuit provisioning, and ensuring projects meet SLAs while supporting 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the field.
• 10-12 years relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, QoS, IPT, VoIP, IOS; Routing and Switching; OSPF and BGP.
• Wired and wireless LAN segments supporting network traffic from end-user devices.
• Experience with redundant networking environments.
• Ability to manage IP components – DNS and DHCP.
• Experience in VPN infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge in SDN/SDDC design and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide Network architecture.
• Provide Network documentation standards and requirements.
• Develop business and functional requirements for Network-related Projects.
• Manage circuit provisioning for new WAN connectivity and favorable pricing.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party installation activities (carrier, router).
• Ensure patch monitoring and deployments meet SLAs and are timely.
