Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America in Irvine, CA is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead architecture, standards, and security within the enterprise IT landscape. The role focuses on translating vendor specs, coordinating strategic initiatives, and aligning IT with business goals.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to drive reliability and performance across core infrastructure domains. The position is on-site in Irvine with a strong emphasis on governance, risk management and future-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/related field.
• 7+ years infrastructure/capacity planning and data center experience.
• Knowledge of SAN/storage, Unix/Linux, security architecture and virtualization.
• TOGAF or ITIL certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document and develop existing infrastructure architecture and technology portfolio.
• Develop and manage infrastructure plan to meet company goals.
• Facilitate initiation of strategic infrastructure initiatives and recommend modifications.
• Translate vendor specifications into system designs aligning with business needs.
• Collaborate with end users and senior management to define requirements.
• Apply technical knowledge to LAN, SAN/storage, Unix/Linux, virtualization, and security.
• Manage infrastructure projects to deliver on-time and on-budget.
• Provide architectural consulting to IT management and staff.
• Participate in architectural review board processes.
• Monitor and evolve architecture to reflect trends and assets.
