O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Senior Network Engineer to lead the evaluation of intermediate network systems and recommend resources for scalability across multisite connectivity environments in Springfield, MO. The role emphasizes low-latency networks for high-traffic retail and omnichannel operations.

The engineer will identify products to enhance service levels, support security and mobility, and provide resolution for complex network problems. Remote work is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of network engineering experience.
• 1–3 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Drive advances in technologies and architectures to increase value.
• Participate in design, development, and maintenance of the digital capabilities within the enterprise architecture.
• Design and select storage, data center, and client/server environments to design solutions in line with industry best practice.
• Provide third-line escalation for appropriate global infrastructure solutions.
• Mentor associate and network engineers on complex troubleshooting.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to handle outages.
