Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Lead Network Engineer II to evaluate, enhance, and maintain a large-scale network project spanning wired, wireless, and software infrastructure. The role involves interfacing with state and local government personnel, internal stakeholders, and vendors to deliver reliable network solutions.

Responsibilities include designing a unified network, improving monitoring, producing documentation, and conducting testing and vulnerability assessments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• CWNA certification or equivalent.
• BCNE certification or equivalent.
• Experience with RF site survey tools and Wireshark.
• Strong networking and security knowledge (802.1x, ACLs, RADIUS, CA).
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, enhance, and maintain large-scale network infrastructure.
• Design integrated network infrastructure; interface with government personnel and vendors.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver infrastructure documentation.
• Review best practices for architecture, design, management, and operation.
• Administer Cloudpath onboarding and monitor wireless health; apply security patches.
• Define testing procedures for new infrastructure projects; implement solutions.
• Provide design guidance and training on network best practices to NPS resources.
