Job summary

Xcel Energy seeks a Senior IT Network Architect to drive the long-term network strategy across IT and OT environments, spanning multiple regions. You will shape governance, roadmaps, and standards while guiding architecture decisions in cross-functional teams.

You will mentor staff, participate in ARB processes, and collaborate with security and operations to deliver resilient, compliant network solutions across a large utility infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ten years of related functional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with enterprise architecture concepts across networks, infrastructure, software, hosting, security.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of network architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to deliver resilient network solutions.
• Govern architectural standards and ADRs; participate in ARB decisions.
• Mentor network architects and engineers across regions.
