Xcel Energy in Denver is seeking a Senior IT Network Architect to lead the development of network and connectivity architecture across IT and OT environments. You will own long-term strategy, governance, and roadmaps, partnering with IT, cyber security, and OT teams to deliver resilient solutions.

The role requires strong architecture leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to guide architecture at scale within a large corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience.
• Ten years of related functional experience.
• Architecture acumen across multiple domains including network, infrastructure, software, hosting models, mobile platforms, and security.
• Exposure to diverse systems, technologies and processing environments in a large Corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Operations: Review project work efforts for compliance with standards and document ADRs.
• Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on optimal architecture and maintain strategy and governance.
• Leadership: Lead cross-organizational teams and contribute to hiring and development planning.
• Planning and Strategy: Govern work to align with reference architecture and IT strategy.
