Job summary

TURNBRIDGE Technical Solutions is seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure in a high-visibility environment. This contract role requires the ability to step in quickly, stabilize priorities, and lead architecture and operations across LAN/WAN, security, voice, and hybrid connectivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting public-sector IT environments.
• 5+ years hands-on LAN/WLAN/WAN design and support.
• Experience with content switching/load balancing (Kemp, F5).
• SAN design and maintenance experience.
• Network security administration (ACLs, firewall, mail gateway).
• Palo Alto NGFW and Cisco IronPort familiarity.
• POTS/PRI/SIP and carrier coordination.
• Cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.
• Strong documentation and cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and support LAN/WLAN/WAN across enterprise environments.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery network resiliency.
• Engineer and support load balancing solutions (Kemp, F5).
• Design, operate, and maintain SANs with performance needs.
• Manage network security controls including ACLs, firewall policy, mail gateway.
• Support Cisco collaboration tools (UCM, UCCX, Unity).
• Troubleshoot complex issues with root-cause analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate across infra, security, application, and operations teams.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge through documentation.
