Job summary

NRI North America is seeking a qualified Network Architect/Administrator to join our professional services team supporting a K-12 school district environment. The role oversees operation, design, implementation, maintenance, and security of the district’s network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, voice and video systems, and related security services.

Qualifications

2 to 5 years of experience supporting Cisco network infrastructure in a small to medium-sized organization.
Comprehensive working knowledge of network services including LAN, WAN, data, voice, and video communications.
Network security, cloud technologies, educational technology, and wireless networking.
Educational technology standards and best practices.
Identifying and resolving connectivity, performance, and security issues.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain, and oversee district network infrastructure including security, data, voice, video, and cabling.
Assess technology service availability and recommend redundancy and failover options.
Lead technical expert for complex network and security segmentation issues.
Supervise network staff with documentation, training, and performance management.
Develop technical specifications, bids, and vendor evaluations.
