Job summary

NRI North America is seeking a qualified Network Architect/Administrator to join the professional services team supporting a K-12 school district environment. Responsible for operation, design, implementation, maintenance, and security of the district’s network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, voice, video, and related security services.

The role supervises network support staff, provides advanced troubleshooting, and coordinates with technology leadership on planning, redundancy, and security

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience supporting Cisco network infrastructure, including telephony, switches, wireless, ISE, or equivalent in a small to mid-sized org.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of network services and related data, voice, and video communications, including LAN and WAN.
• Two or more of the following Cisco certifications: CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Wireless, CCNP, or CCNA Voice.
• Prior K-12 work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and oversee district network infrastructure systems, including security, data, voice, video, and cabling.
• Evaluate and resolve problems within network infrastructure and security systems; design solutions to maximize support for curriculum and admin systems.
• Lead projects and supervise network staff; coordinate with technology leadership.
• Develop and maintain standards for classrooms, network rooms, and cabling; ensure compliance with contracts.
• Prepare monthly reports on system status, failures, and deficiencies.
