Job summary

Ideal Innovations Incorporated seeks a network operations professional to join the FBI CJIS SNOC in Clarksburg, WV. This on-site role supports 24/7 monitoring, incident triage, and rapid restoration of CJIS IT services within a SAFe-aligned operations team.

You will work with network, systems, and applications groups to maintain high availability, security, and compliance, using Jira/Confluence and agile methods. Evening shift: 11pm–7am; US citizenship and TS clearance required.

Qualifications

Six years of relevant network/IT experience in lieu of degree.
In-depth knowledge of cloud, network, security, and routing technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS).
Experience with WAN/LAN, routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Experience in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site monitoring for 24x7 services.
Draft and review network blueprints (LAN/WAN/cloud) with scalability and security.
Evaluate new network technologies and propose upgrades.
Resolve network performance issues and optimize configurations.
Identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and enforce security best practices.
Forecast bandwidth and plan infrastructure upgrades.
Serve as technical lead for complex network problems and mentor staff.
Monitor implementation projects for configuration, testing, and deployment.
Create network documentation and training materials.
Maintain records in Jira/Confluence and other repositories.
Staff evening/late shifts as required.
Troubleshoot customer issues to identify root causes and resolve them.
