Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks an experienced Network Administrator III to design, implement, and manage our network infrastructure, focusing on switches, routers, and firewalls. You will ensure security, reliability, and performance in a mission-driven nonprofit setting.

The role requires 10+ years in network administration, CCNP or equivalent experience, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with on-site work and potential hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• CCNP certification or 5+ years of equivalent networking experience.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in network administration with Cisco equipment.

Responsibilities

• Designs and deploys Cisco-based and other network solutions to meet organizational requirements.
• Configure and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Implements network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and attacks.
• Conducts regular security audits and ensures compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Monitors network performance and identifies opportunities to optimize network infrastructure for maximum performance and uptime.
• Responsible for troubleshooting network issues and outages to ensure swift resolution and minimize downtime.
• Maintains accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Generates reports on network performance, capacity, and availability.
• Provides technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network-related issues.
• Manages vendor relationships regarding network hardware and software, including procurement and support.
• Resolves Tier 1, 2, and 3 networking requests.
