Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior NetSuite Engineer to own the architecture and development of NetSuite at Nscale. This hybrid role is based in New York, with responsibilities spanning architecture, custom solutions, and integrations.

You will lead data migrations, maintain data consistency, and partner with finance tech and external consultants. 7+ years with NetSuite, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, OneWorld required; NetSuite certification a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years implementing, configuring and scaling NetSuite.
• Hands-on expertise with SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, NetSuite data model, and SuiteTalk or REST APIs.
• Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, including multi-subsidiary design, multi-book accounting, Advanced Revenue Management and intercompany transactions.
• Experience building and maintaining integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Experience working within a structured development lifecycle and introducing source control, SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and CI/CD.
• Understanding of financial close processes, including journals, reconciliations, accruals and consolidations.
• Ability to use AI tools in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Own NetSuite architecture and technical development, including solution standards, performance and scalability.
• Design and build custom NetSuite solutions, from configuration through scripting.
• Reduce technical debt and fragile customisations, using native functionality where possible.
• Architect and support integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
• Maintain data consistency across entities and currencies; lead data migration for new entities and acquisitions.
• Own the NetSuite development lifecycle, including source control, testing and deployment; translate business requirements into technical solutions; partner with engineers and external consultants; advise on build-vs-buy decisions.
