Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA Level III/IV) in Texas. The role involves acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500 kV, with up to 75% regional and national travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
• NETA III/IV certification current and in good standing.
• Ability to read one-line and P&ID diagrams; interpret protective relays.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500 kV.
• Conduct power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysis.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor-based).
• Interpret results and draft comprehensive engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
