Job summary

Joseph Michaels International seeks an experienced field technician to test, inspect, and maintain electrical power systems across Tennessee and the Southeast. You will lead testing, commissioning, and on-site mentoring of junior techs.

Responsibilities include NETA acceptance testing, outage support, and documenting results, with travel up to 50%. Valid license required; company truck and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of field testing experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Solid safety habits: LOTO, arc flash and NFPA 70E.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and troubleshoot LV, MV and HV switchgear, breakers, transformers, relays and cable.
• Perform NETA acceptance and maintenance testing, and document the results.
• Commission new equipment, and support outages and emergency calls.
• Lead and mentor Level I/II techs on site.
