Job summary

San Diego County Credit Union Inc is seeking a Senior Application Developer to lead design, development, and maintenance of web sites, with a focus on secure, scalable solutions for financial services. The role requires deep expertise in .NET, SQL Server and modern web technologies.

You will work within an Agile environment, collaborate with senior engineers, and participate in code reviews and architectural assessments to deliver high-quality software across internet and intranet platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS or equivalent.
• 6+ years IT industry experience.
• Financial Services/Banking experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of object oriented programming, scripting and functional programming.
• Experience building secure web applications using latest technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with relational database like Microsoft SQL server.
• Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and T-SQL.
• Mobile apps development experience a big plus (native or hybrid).
• Experience with PowerShell, AngularJS, NodeJS, React Native a plus.
• Good UI/UX design skills.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies a plus.
• Experience with Git/TFS, CI/CD tools a plus.
• Familiar with OWASP.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level design, development, maintenance, integration and support of internet/intranet websites.
• Write technical specification documents based on requirements.
• Review architecture and perform code reviews with senior developers.
• Develop software with complex third-party integrations.
• Support planning and technical activities for Digital Channels.
• Adhere to development standards and perform unit testing.
• Report status on activities and projects to management.
• Provide technical support and problem resolution for internal applications.
• Participate in AML/BSA compliance training and related policy adherence.
