D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Application Developer III to design and build internal applications, modernize legacy systems, and ensure quality through thorough testing. The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to standards, and timely delivery within a Fortune 500 homebuilder environment.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of .NET web development experience, strong communication, and a team-oriented mindset. Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum six (6) years of .Net web application development.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to apply technical skills to implement high-quality solutions.
• Ability to apply logical methods to solve difficult problems and generate effective solutions.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or DRH instructions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications that streamline internal business processes.
• Work with legacy applications to extend or enhance functionality and develop new applications.
• Perform unit testing after development; initiate end-to-end testing and validation in a development environment.
• Follow predefined development standards for naming conventions and UI consistency.
• Complete assigned tasks correctly and within timeframes.
• Assist leads in designing solutions and problem resolution.
