Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a seasoned .NET Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable software within a transitioning platform. The role balances strategic architectural oversight with hands-on contribution to secure, maintainable solutions.

You will mentor developers, drive coding standards, and guide modernization efforts while collaborating with senior leadership to align with business priorities. This is a contract-to-hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years developing in listed technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of high-complexity software systems and features.
• Conduct architectural reviews for developers and contracted partners, and approve or recommend technology choices, frameworks, and modernization strategies.
• Translate business needs into clear, scalable, technically sound solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and Director of Software Engineering to shape system and application architecture with focus on reliability, performance, maintainability.
• Identify architectural improvements, risks, and technical debt; lead remediation efforts.
