Syms Strategic Group (SSG) invites an experienced Senior Software Systems Engineer to support the Veterans Affairs (VA) department. This 100% remote, full-time role focuses on .NET development using C#, MVC, and contemporary cloud practices.

The candidate will plan requirements, implement, test, and deploy software with CI/CD while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development experience using .Net technologies.
• Experience with full-stack development including RESTful APIs and CI/CD practices.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning and requirements definition for software systems.
• Develop .Net back-end services using C#, MVC, and EF.
• Participate as an active member of the software development team.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Support deployment to production via CI/CD pipelines.
• Interface with stakeholders to gather project requirements.
