Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a senior Architect / Delivery Lead to guide the design, development, and delivery of critical banking platforms. The role focuses on note finance, lending workflows, or loan servicing with deep cloud and architectural expertise.

The candidate will own end-to-end solution architecture across .NET, Angular, Python, and Azure, and lead onsite and offshore teams to deliver complex modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of architecture or delivery-lead experience in banking/financial services.
• Hands-on in .NET/C# app architecture, Angular front-end, Python APIs, and cloud-enabled solutions.
• Experience guiding distributed onsite/offshore teams and defining standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and delivery for enterprise banking applications.
• Translate lending, loan servicing, or finance requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across .NET, Angular, Python and Azure.
• Guide engineering on coding standards, patterns, and quality frameworks.
• Provide oversight for modernization, API development, cloud migration, workflows, integrations.
• Manage delivery activities, sprint planning, estimation, and release coordination.
• Evaluate technologies and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, product, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• Provide architectural roadmaps and recommendations to leadership.
