Job summary

TransCore is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Round Rock, TX team. You will develop real-time toll data systems, build scalable microservices, and contribute to AI-assisted development. Expect to mentor junior engineers and collaborate in a fast-paced SDLC.

The role focuses on .NET Core on Linux with Angular front-end, SQL Server work, and containerized deployments, with strong emphasis on code quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related engineering; master's preferred.
• 10–13 years of professional, multi-threaded C#/.NET experience on Linux and Angular front-end.
• Strong Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and API/microservice design skills.
• Experience with SQL Server, Docker, and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance real-time toll data systems.
• Build scalable multi-threaded services using C#, .NET and APIs.
• Participate in daily Scrum and ensure timely sprint delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and support deployments.
• Design and tune SQL Server schemas and queries.
• Develop Angular front-end applications for real-time data.
