Job summary

TransCore, LP in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Software Development team. You will work on .NET projects, design scalable services, and mentor junior engineers, with focus on real-time toll data processing and modern deployment workflows.

You will develop full-stack components including Angular front-ends and robust APIs, apply AI-assisted tools, and participate in the full software lifecycle from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10–13 years in multi-threaded C#/.NET development on Linux.
• Strong Angular, TypeScript, and front-end skills.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
• Familiar with Docker or containerization and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize real-time data processing software.
• Build scalable multi-threaded services using C#, .NET and APIs.
• Participate in daily Scrum; provide task progress updates.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; assist in deployments.
• Develop and tune relational data structures in SQL Server.
• Create and maintain Angular front-ends exposing real-time data.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery and evaluate AI features.
• Document code and contribute to user manuals and guides.
