Job summary

Medical Knowledge Group seeks an experienced Software Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our Speaker Bureau platform built on C#/.NET ASP.NET Web Forms. You will work in a legacy production environment, diagnose issues across code and databases, and implement durable improvements.

The role emphasizes safe modernization, strong SQL skills, and collaboration with stakeholders, using AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms applications.
• Strong SQL skills with complex querying and data investigation.
• Able to debug and understand legacy production code safely.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude / OpenAI Codex) in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance an existing C#/.NET ASP.NET Web Forms application.
• Diagnose issues across legacy codebase, databases, and integrations.
• Learn existing systems quickly and improve without introducing risk.
• Refactor and modernize components while preserving functionality.
• Develop reports and data extracts, optimize queries, and improve data access.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and produce maintainable, well-documented code.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development while applying engineering judgment.
