Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize low-level software components powering our next-generation semiconductor systems. You will participate throughout the full software lifecycle, gathering customer requirements and translating them into robust solutions.

You will design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications using C# and WPF, implement client-server communication with WCF and TCP/IP, and build hardware interfaces for metrology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Math/Eng.
• 5+ years in .NET/C# software development.
• Experience with motion control, metrology, and GUI using WPF.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize low-level software components.
• Develop .NET applications using C# and WPF.
• Implement client-server communication via WCF, TCP/IP.
• Interface with hardware using various communication protocols.
• Participate in code reviews, unit tests, and system integration.
