Job summary

Vytwo is seeking a seasoned SDET Lead to own and drive automation for backend API/webservices in a Banking/Finance domain. You will lead the test automation strategy, build modular automation scripts, and ensure end-to-end coverage across SDLC.

Required 8+ years in QA automation, strong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, and hands-on experience with backend API testing and BDD frameworks. This is an onsite Raleigh-based role with day-one presence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a QA Test Automation engineer (SDET).
• Good understanding of OO programming concepts and experience in Java, .Net, Python.
• Writing test automation with C#/.NET or any programming language.
• Extensive experience in backend API / webservices automation testing.
• Experience with a BDD framework like Specflow, Cucumber.
• Data-Driven Testing and creating modular automated test scripts.
• Functional, regression, and performance test execution.
• Root-cause analysis and debugging of automation failures.

Responsibilities

• Configure Test Environment and setup.
• Participate in Test Environment setup with an IDE.
• Automate framework design and implement per project structure.
• Select automation test cases and document test strategy.
• Create and approve automation test plans and test cases.
• Develop, enhance, debug and execute test cases.
• Monitor defect management and drive regression testing.
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore delivery teams across SDLC/ STLC.
