About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a team responsible for end-to-end API automation testing for a critical enterprise platform. This role is heavily focused on backend quality engineering, automation development, and programming, with minimal emphasis on manual testing or UI automation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated API test frameworks and test suites.

Build robust, reusable automation solutions using Java or Python.

Create, maintain, and execute automated validation for RESTful APIs and backend services.

Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.

Analyze test results, investigate failures, and drive root-cause analysis.

Contribute to automation strategy, framework improvements, and best engineering practices.

Participate in technical reviews and provide quality-focused feedback throughout the software development lifecycle.

Independently own testing deliverables and proactively drive issues to resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong experience in API Automation Testing.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with additional automation technologies such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-native application testing.

Role Expectations
