Job summary

Applied Information Sciences is seeking a Senior .NET & React Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting a mission-critical federal client in Washington, DC. You will design, develop, test, and maintain secure web applications using C#, ASP.NET, React, and SQL Server, collaborating with clients and internal teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, code quality, security, and continuous learning in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience using C# and the .NET framework.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Experience developing front-end applications or components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns and API styles, including REST and/or RPC.
• Experience integrating front-end components with back-end services and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack application features using C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and modern UI development practices.
• Develop scalable and secure backend components and APIs to support application functionality.
• Modify and enhance existing code to improve performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services as needed.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code aligned with best practices and team guidelines.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues.
• Use Git/GitLab for version control, branching, and team collaboration.
• Assist with remediation of code and package vulnerabilities identified through security scans.
