Job summary

Jobtailor in Denver, CO seeks an accomplished senior software engineer to lead full-stack development across .NET Core and modern JavaScript frameworks. You will drive system evolution, modernize legacy platforms, and translate orthodontic insurance rules into scalable services.

You will own Epics end-to-end, mentor engineers, and champion AI-assisted engineering to boost efficiency. The role requires deep experience with .NET, React/Angular, AWS, and CI/CD, plus a track record of delivering

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software development experience in .NET Core/.NET ecosystem.
Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core/Framework and SQL Server relational design.
Extensive experience building responsive UIs using React and/or Angular.
Practical experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and service-based/distributed architectures.
Strong proficiency with AWS services (or other major clouds), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning.
Familiarity with high-volume batch processing and data streams.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve complex, service-based architectures and distributed systems.
Modernize legacy platforms with an emphasis on simplicity, maintainability, and ROI.
Translate orthodontic insurance rules (claims, eligibility, remittance) into scalable technical solutions.
Own Epics end-to-end, manage risks, dependencies, and team KPIs for delivery reliability.
Write clean, robust full-stack code using React on the frontend and .NET Core on the backend.
Champion AI-assisted engineering and integrate AI tools to automate design, tests, and reviews.
Set high standards for code quality via code reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, guiding design decisions and collaboration.
