Job summary

Smart Energy Water is seeking a seasoned .NET Developer to join our product engineering team to capture requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development.

You will drive deliverables with the engineering team, collaborating with R&D on AI, ML and IoT initiatives and ensuring code quality, testing, and timely releases across mobile, web and desktop applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as .Net Developer.
• Proficient with Microsoft .Net 3.5+ development using C#.
• Experience with core Microsoft .Net technologies including: WCF, LINQ, and EF.
• Experience with database development including relational database design, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise grade software.
• Experience with source control management systems and deployment environment.
• Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with product engineering team to write functional/ business requirements into technical specs.
• Manage and push engineering teams to meet deliverables and deadlines.
• Collaborate with R&D on AI, ML and IoT topics.
• Lead product engineering efforts toward successful delivery.
• Maintain high software quality and best practices within the team.
• Coordinate with QA and offshore developers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop apps.
• Participate in peer reviews of solution design and code.
• Package and support deployment of releases.
• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
