Job summary

eNGINE is seeking two Senior Software Engineers to modernize core technology platforms and deliver production-grade software across the full stack. You’ll work closely with the Principal Architect on greenfield services, authentication environments, and platform refresh initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise with .NET Core, C#, and React in production systems.
• Full stack capability across frontend and backend technologies.
• Strong architecture sense, testing, debugging, and code quality.
• Experience building APIs and modern web applications with security in mind.
• Comfortable evaluating and improving code beyond AI outputs.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in distributed teams.
• Ability to work independently and align with EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production software across the full stack.
• Build new backend services and APIs as part of modernization efforts.
• Create scalable backend solutions using .NET Core and C#.
• Collaborate with the Principal Architect to translate architecture into code.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Entra SSO environments.
• Incorporate Agentic AI and AI-assisted development tools into workflows.
• Review AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, and scalability.
• Coordinate with U.S. and London teams to deliver new applications.
• Contribute to cloud-native practices, containers, and modern deployments.
• Help raise engineering standards and processes across the team.
