Job summary

ZipStaff is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for the Office of Information Technology in Tallahassee, FL. This hybrid contract (W2 through ZipStaff) leads development for complex financial applications using Visual Studio, .NET, Azure SQL, and SQL Server.

You will mentor teams, ensure quality standards, document processes, and collaborate with architects to deliver scalable solutions for state transportation agency initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a lead developer or development manager.
• 5+ years with relational databases including Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Strong Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET development experience.
• Experience supporting complex financial business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and serve as SME for applications handling complex financial processes.
• Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance from inception through production.
• Analyze financial systems and assist with process redesign.
• Identify and resolve issues using troubleshooting tools and teamwork.
• Collaborate with developers and architects on standards and roadmaps.
• Work with distributed cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Document critical business processes and ensure development standards are followed.
