Job summary

Pinewood.AI is seeking an experienced Lead Developer to help grow our software development capabilities in the United States. Based in Fort Lauderdale, FL (preferred) with flexibility for fully remote candidates nationwide, you will lead a team of developers and senior engineers while staying hands-on with code.

You’ll guide architectural decisions, ensure high standards for security, scalability, and delivery, and collaborate with product teams across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer or similar senior engineering role in SaaS/enterprise software.
• Hands-on expertise with C#, .NET platform, and SQL/T-SQL.
• Experience delivering frontend features with HTML, JavaScript, and Razor.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, or equivalent cloud/CI/CD tech.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and/or VS Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide day-to-day technical direction to a team of software developers and engineers.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams across the U.S. and internationally to deliver features for the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform.
• Remain hands-on with coding, software design, and architecture, promoting engineering best practices across the full .NET stack.
• Mentor and coach developers and engineers to strengthen technical capabilities and careers.
• Ensure scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Shape engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, and technical practices as the U.S. team grows.
