Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is seeking a Lead Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable applications that support complex business processes. Translate user stories into technical solutions and collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team.

The role offers flexibility to work remote, hybrid or onsite under our Telecommuting Policy. Strong focus on performance, reliability, and documentation accompanies a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of application development experience with knowledge of at least one programming language.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable applications.
• Translate user stories and business requirements into technical specifications.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with product owners, analysts, QA, and other developers.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
