Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Lead to drive design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications. You will lead architecture decisions, mentor developers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality software across the SDLC.

Based in Raleigh, NC, this onsite role requires 5 days a week in a Cognizant office. You will work with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core/ MVC, Angular, Azure, SQL Server, and microservices to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical lead or senior lead role managing development teams and technical delivery.
• Strong experience with Angular (v13–v16), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, deployment, monitoring, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise applications using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Framework, and Angular (v13-v16).
• Architect and develop modern microservices-based solutions and RESTful APIs to support business-critical applications.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data models to improve performance and reporting accuracy.
• Develop responsive web interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Leverage Azure services including App Services, Storage, Identity Management, and Security for cloud-native deployment.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, QA, and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
