Job summary

vTech Solution seeks a Senior .NET/SQL Full-Stack Developer to support critical Iowa DHHS applications. You will work hands-on with C# and .NET, manage SQL Server databases and SSRS reports, and modernize legacy systems across statewide programs.

Collaborating with stakeholders, analysts, QA, and IT staff, you will ensure secure, accessible solutions while troubleshooting production issues and delivering reliable software within an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience with C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Core development.
• Advanced SQL Server skills including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience creating and supporting SSRS reports.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful and/or SOAP services.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD, and project management.
• Experience supporting enterprise production applications across multiple layers (front-end, middleware, backend).
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and remediation practices.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and SASS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using C# and ASP.NET/.NET technologies.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and middleware integrations.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot SSRS reports supporting business operations.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.
• Analyze and resolve complex production issues across multiple applications and environments.
• Support front-end application updates and enhancements as needed.
• Modernize legacy applications and reduce technical debt.
• Manage source control, deployments, and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility requirements and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, QA teams, and technical staff to deliver solutions.
