Job summary

Morph Enterprise is seeking a senior QA/Automation Engineer for an on-site role in West Sacramento, CA, with a ramp-up to a hybrid schedule (2–3 days on-site weekly). The contract runs 24 months with potential extension.

Start date is January 2027 and engagement is hourly, ~172 hours per month. Responsibilities focus on designing and implementing automated tests, translating requirements into test cases, and maintaining test documentation across system, functional, performance, and regression

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a software developer with .NET, ASP.NET and MVC; C# OOP; front-end with JavaScript/jQuery/HTML/XML; unit and system integration testing.
• 8+ years with Microsoft SQL Server; data models; complex SQL queries and stored procedures with joins, grouping and sorting.
• 5+ years automating tests on large projects; building test libraries; using Java, Python or shell scripting for automation; improving regression testing.
• 5+ years preparing test harnesses for system, functional and performance testing.
• 5+ years producing test documentation: requirements, architecture, plans and configuration for various testing types.
• 3+ years data manipulation, reporting and validation with SQL queries.
• 5+ years using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM or JAMA).
• 5+ years translating requirements into test cases; 5+ years analyzing test results and refining tests.
• 3+ years requirement elicitation; documenting use cases and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
