Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer specializing in .NET for a remote role across the United States. You will provide technical leadership to the Technology enterprise, collaborate with product managers, and guide multiple engineering teams.

You will develop and execute software development strategy for .NET and other domains, ensure quality, usability, and performance, and mentor engineers while influencing executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 10 years of software development within .NET framework.
• 7 years of building architecture and design of systems.
• 5 years of DevOps concepts, cloud architecture, and Azure DevOps.
• 3 years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Experience with Azure network and open source frameworks or one of: .NET Core, ASP.NET, Angular, or Express.
