Job summary

Neumo in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and maintain data-intensive enterprise applications across our government portfolio. The role centers on C# and .NET, SQL Server, with Vue.js front ends and occasional C++ components.

You will work across legacy and modernized systems, own production-quality software, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD improvements while collaborating with QA, Product and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with C# and .NET, building and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, including query design and optimization.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js.
• Ability to read, modify and extend existing C++ production code.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release workflows.
• Experience in government/public-sector or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and scalable system design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support web applications and services using C# and .NET MVC.
• Design and optimize SQL Server queries for high-performance transactional systems.
• Contribute to front-end development across a mixed estate including Vue.js views.
• Maintain and extend core application logic in C++ for high-throughput components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across database, backend and UI layers.
• Collaborate with QA, Product and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
