Job summary

First Community Credit Union — a Copperfield-based HQ in Houston — seeks a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support Core financial system apps. You will lead medium-to-large projects, mentor juniors, and collaborate with teams across FCCU's Data Center and Azure environments.

The role requires at least five years in C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, REST and SOAP services, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and Azure services. On-site with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience building applications using C# and .NET platform.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs.
• Minimum of three years of experience working with SQL Server and Azure SQL, including writing and turning queries.
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs and SOAP services.
• Experience building Mobile Applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Core financial system applications.
• Lead medium to large projects and provide technical leadership.
• Guide Software Engineer I and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Build front-end and back-end applications using C# and .NET.
• Troubleshoot and optimize integrations hosted in FCCU's Data Center and Azure environments.
