Job summary

First Community Credit Union in Houston, TX is hiring a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support Core financial system applications. You will lead medium to large projects, serve as a senior contributor, and guide Software Engineer I teammates.

Role focuses on front-end and back-end development using C#/.NET, REST APIs, SOAP services, and Azure-based deployments in FCCU's Data Center and Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience building applications using C# and .NET platform.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs.
• Minimum of three years of experience working with SQL Server and Azure SQL, including writing and turning queries.
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs and SOAP services.
• Experience building Mobile Applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Core financial system applications.
• Lead medium to large projects and act as a technical advisor.
• Build front-end and back-end applications using C# and the .NET platform.
• Provide guidance to Software Engineer I's.
• Troubleshoot integrations and internal FCCU applications in Data Center and Azure environments.
