NetImpact Strategies Inc. is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to lead development, modernization, and operation of a high‑availability, enterprise‑scale application in an AWS GovCloud environment.

The role is hands‑on, owning a complex production codebase and collaborating with technical leads, operations, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions using .NET 10/.NET Core, PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Expert-level hands‑on development with C# and .NET Core
• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience in AWS, preferably AWS GovCloud
• Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Experience with Rancher
• Experience with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS
• PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, query optimization
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools
• Ability to perform code reviews and mentor others
• Knowledge of SonarQube and static code analysis
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) repositories and CI/CD
• US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET 10 / .NET Core
• Develop cloud-native applications in AWS GovCloud
• Design scalable, highly available services processing millions of messages per month
• Support event-driven processing with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS
• Develop data access using PostgreSQL on AWS RDS
• Manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes (Rancher)
• Support AI-assisted development tools and review AI-generated code
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering standards
• Maintain code quality and security with automated scanning (SonarQube)
