Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team invites a Senior Software/Platform Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise treasury platforms on .NET and cloud-native microservices. You will work across Azure AKS, Istio, and REST APIs to deliver scalable, secure solutions that support global treasury operations.

You’ll own troubleshooting, contribute to architecture, and collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced, hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software development experience with .NET, C#, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure/services including AKS, Service Bus, Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Hands-on containerization (Docker) and orchestration using AKS; Istio service mesh experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using .NET, C#, REST APIs.
• Hands-on Azure infrastructure experience; AZ-104/AZ-305 certifications preferred.
• Build cloud-native microservices deployed on AKS with containerized workloads.
• Implement Istio service mesh for traffic, security, and observability.
• Troubleshoot deep-rooted issues across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
