Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong C#/.NET skills, Azure cloud experience, and a passion for AI-assisted development to design, build, and optimize enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with Agile teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to architecture and quality improvements while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and software quality.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
• Experience building applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform is a plus).
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Understanding of software testing, code quality, and secure development practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET.
• Build and enhance cloud-native solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
• Develop automated testing strategies and integrate quality and security controls throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar technologies) to improve development efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive development and operational tasks.
