Job summary

Victory Live is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to drive the C#/.NET services powering our live ticketing platform.

You will lead critical initiatives from planning through execution and act as a force multiplier for AI-assisted development across the team. You will mentor mid-level and junior engineers, shape system architecture, and own tough data migrations and rewrites, delivering robust, scalable services while improving engineering workflows and velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software with strong depth in C# and .NET.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions in a .NET service.
• Strong backend/API/distributed services experience in .NET.
• Mentorship experience and a track record of helping teammates grow.
• Fluent use of AI tooling across the full engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major initiatives from planning to launch with product and technical leadership.
• Rewrite or migrate hard .NET services or data migrations as needed.
• Shape architecture; write design docs and discuss tradeoffs publicly.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, pairing and code-reviewing to raise skills, including AI tooling fluency.
• Drive process improvements and advocate for AI-native practices across the team.
• Be a reliable code reviewer and oversee on-call incident response and postmortems.
