Job summary

Ask IT Consulting in Columbia, SC seeks a seasoned .Net Programmer to lead web and service development for a State of SC project. You will architect, code, test, and deploy using Visual Studio 2015, C#, ASP.NET, .NET, and MS SQL on enterprise servers.

Candidates must have extensive experience with TFS, WCF, EF6, MVC, SSRS and responsive design; strong communication and ability to mentor teammates are required.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience independently designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems and components using .NET architectures.
• 5+ years’ experience building data-driven applications with significant relational DB engines.
• 5+ years’ experience developing web-based software with N-tier architectures and secure models.

Responsibilities

• Interact with software engineers and stakeholders to understand subsystem specifications and propose efficient changes.
• Collaborate with government and industry groups to determine data interchange formats and API requirements.
• Design and document subsystems and components and ensure they function together within the larger system.
• Write and execute tests for subsystems and components and participate in integrated test sessions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technology within the team to improve delivery.
