Job summary

Aretum is seeking a Senior Developer in the Microsoft ecosystem to modernize legacy apps and design cloud-native solutions. You will work in cross-functional teams to develop and maintain .NET, Web API, and Angular components for federal/government contracts.

Required: 7+ years on C#, ASP.NET, .NET; 5+ years REST/WCF; 4+ years JavaScript/Angular; Azure, DevOps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes; and Microsoft certifications. Remote within the United States with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; 5 additional years of experience acceptable in lieu.
• 7+ years in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET development.
• Experience refactoring/migrating .NET Framework to .NET Core (ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core).
• 5+ years building RESTful services and WCF.
• 4+ years JavaScript and Angular v16+.
• Solid experience with EF and EF Core.
• Experience with Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Visual Studio Ultimate, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scrum Agile development knowledge.
• Excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native apps using .NET, Angular, and Azure with Web API and EF Core.
• Collaborate in Agile teams; balance multiple tasks and deliver independently.
• Ensure security, governance, and accessibility standards.
• Work with Project Manager to support client needs and migrations.
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior developers.
