Job summary

TECKpert LLC. is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support a county government project in Miami, FL. This hybrid on-site role requires strong .NET, SQL, and ETL skills to migrate legacy systems to a modern Oracle-based platform, with emphasis on data integrity and secure integrations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET MVC applications.
• Strong JavaScript and jQuery for dynamic web interactions.
• Oracle SQL/PLSQL experience and data modeling skills.
• Experience with MVC architecture, routing, and security best practices.
• Windows applications and web services (REST/SOAP) development.
• SSIS/SSRS ETL and reporting design, deployment, integration.
• Ability to modernize legacy systems (PEN, MS Access, Mainframe) to .NET/Oracle.
• Strong automation capability for workflows and online processes.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Transition legacy systems to a modern .NET/Oracle permitting platform.
• Design and build C# .NET MVC applications with clean, maintainable code.
• Develop dynamic front-end functionality using JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX.
• Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries and database structures.
• Build, tune, and maintain SSIS ETL packages and SSRS reports.
• Develop RESTful and SOAP web services for system integrations.
• Embed impervious surface reviews into workflows for permits and drainage.
• Implement automated workload assignment and workflow automation features.
• Create customer-facing capabilities for online submission, tracking, invoicing, payments, ECM integration.
• Coordinate with county analysts, business users, and vendors in a hybrid schedule.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with environmental and historical preservation rules.
• Support the building permit process modernization project.
