Job summary

DCAS (City of New York) seeks a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level .NET applications. Under IT leadership, this role will oversee architecture, coding, and scalable solution delivery across multiple projects.

The candidate will improve performance, troubleshoot issues, enforce best practices, and provide end-user technical support while strengthening the IT infrastructure for City agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/associate/advanced degree in CS, engineering or related field with substantial experience in .NET.
• Experience in enterprise-level application development and architecture.
• Background in designing scalable software and integration of systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, analysts and IT staff to deliver .NET solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and roadmaps.
• Customize and integrate systems within enterprise architecture.
• Participate in deployment and provisioning activities.
• Analyze complex business processes and define technical blueprints.
• Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise .NET applications.
• Support end-users and improve system reliability.
• Define requirements with project managers and refine solutions.
• Drive high-quality technical outcomes and best practices.

Education

Baccalaureate degree in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field

Associate degree in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field

Baccalaureate degree plus eight years of related experience in relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain

Education and/or experience equivalent to items 1–3 above
